How many bottles are in a case?

There are 12 bottles in a case.

What if I want to order 4 bottles? I only see increments of 2,3,6 or 12 bottles.

If you would like to order 4 bottles, you can order 2 of the 2 bottle sets of Mezclajete® Especial.

Are there any discounts available?

We may run specials offering a coupon code for discounts in the future but there are no discounts currently available.

Can I have a gift message included with my order?

Yes. We would be happy to include a gift message with your order.

Do you offer gift cards?

No. Unfortunately not at this time

Is your Mezclajete® Especial Salsa Picante gluten free?

We do not use any gluten ingredients in our Mezclajete® Especial Salsa Picante but they are not certified gluten free.

Shipping

What are the shipping costs?

There are no additional shipping costs if the shipping address is located within the US (including AK & HI) and APO’s.  If you would like to ship internationally, please email us at info@mezclajete.com or give us a call at 888-262-1502 or 619-442-0412 and we can try to find the most cost effective way to ship your order.

Do you ship to APO addresses?

Yes. We ship USPS Priority Mail. 6 bottles fit perfectly in a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box.

Can I come and pick up product from your location?

Our facility is not open to the public.

Do you ship to Canada?

Unfortunately, No. We are not set up to do international shipping. Please email us at info@mezclajete.com for other options to ship to Canada.

Where do you ship from?

We ship from our location in El Cajon, CA which is part of San Diego County.

How do you ship your orders?

We ship our orders via USPS Priority Mail. Larger orders may ship UPS Ground.

Why do you ship USPS instead of UPS or Fed Ex?

We chose to ship orders via USPS Priority Mail because it gets to our customers quicker, we can ship to practically any location (P.O. Boxes, APO addresses, Alaska & Hawaii), and it is more cost effective as well as environmentally friendly. By shipping USPS, we are able to decrease our use of polystyrene packing peanuts and the boxes from USPS are made from post consumer materials reducing our carbon footprint.

What do I do if my package arrives damaged?

While damage in transit is very rare, it does occasionally occur.  We do our best to pack your order to reduce any issues.  If you do received a package with damaged product, please email us at info@mezclajete.com or give us a call at 888-262-1502 or 619-442-0412 and we can either send a replacement bottle or credit your account for the cost of the damaged product.  Refunds can only be made to the originating credit card.

Ordering

What if I need to change or cancel my order?

Please email us at info@mezclajete.com or call us at 888-262-1502 or 619-442-0412 ASAP and we will do our best to help you.  If you email us, please include a daytime phone number we can reach you.

Please note, if your order has already shipped, we will not be able to change or cancel it but we will work with you to figure out what we can do.

Why does my cart show only 1 item instead of 2 items?

Whenever you change the number of items, you have to click on “Update” or your shopping cart will not reflect the changes.

I just placed my order for 3 bottles and then realized I wanted to order a total of 6 bottles of sauce. Can I email you and have you charge me for the 3 additional bottles I would like to order?

If you want to add more items to your order, please give us a call at 888-262-1502 or 619-442-0412.  We will be more than happy to help.

Why is my credit card being declined?

The security protocols for our site is very strict to prevent fraudulent activity.  This is for our customer’s safety.

Some of the reasons that a credit card may be declined are:

  1. The credit card number may have a number transposed.
  2. A new card was received and activated making the old card unusable.
  3. The bank issuing the credit card has declined the transaction.
  4. The billing address does not match the billing statement of your credit card.  (this is the most common reason)
  5. The street number does NOT match but the ZIP code matches the billing statement.
  6. The street number matches the billing statement but the ZIP does NOT match.
  7. Neither the street number or ZIP match the billing statement.

Do you give tours of your food manufacturing kitchen?

We do not offer tours at this time.
